Road network in Nigeria has always been a major problem in economic growth of Nigeria and for convenient mibility of its citizens ,and in the movement of goods and services.
In a recent interactive session with Zain Asher, CNN International news anchor at the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) 2017 Annual General Conference in Lagos , vice President Yemi Osinbajo spoke about the improvement the government in Agriculture and infrastructure, especially in road constructions which will anable easy movement of locally produced goods from one state to another.For the rehabilitation of over 65 roads and bridges to enhance transportation system in the country the Federal government has budget billions of Naira.The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udoma, disclosed this at the public presentation of the 2017 Appropriation Act on “Budget of Recovery and Growth’’ in Abuja.
Like the popula saying "kudos to whom it is due, it is a fact that most Nigerian roads are in really bad shape but kudos should be given to Lagos and Akwaibom states for development of roads in these states
