LEGENDARY COUNTRY SINGER DON WILLIAMS DIES AT 78



Legendary country singer Don Williams will always be remembered for great songs and his gentle nature.Born May 27, 1939, in Floydada, Texas. Don William learned to play guitar from his mother ,  as a teenager he performed in country, folk and rock bands, according to the hall of fame’s Encyclopedia of Country Music. He was introduced into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010 but could not attend the event because he had bronchitis

He released more than 35 albulms , songs that consoled and motivated many .   His hits include U are my best friend,Tulsa time,Amanda. His publicist confirmed on Friday that Don Williams died after a brief illness.
